It is a registered charity on a mission to give every person a book of their own. It’s also a celebration of authors, books. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated b as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, in over 100 countries all over the world. This day is celebrated on 23rd April 2019. Many other events are here Like World Health Day 2019. Everyone celebrates this day Very loudly and very happily. The main aim of World Book Day in the UK is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own.

Facts Of World Book Day
- Each second, 70 books are sold on world book day. Someone figured that in one day Sold and purchased the books of a different writer.
- Roald Dahl, author of Charlie and at Cadbury, as a chocolate taste test!
- Theodor Seuss Geisel a new book, better known as Dr. Seuss, was found in 2013. The books are called What Pet Should I Get? and was published in 2015 is also sold on this day. And we see many new books of a different writer.

World Book Day Celebrate
That’s why we will be sending schools age-ranged World Book Day Resource Packs full activities, display material and more information about how to get involved in World Book Day. As the name suggests, the focus of the day is on books and writing and reading also. Thus, various programs are held by UNESCO to promote reading habits and activities among people. The focus is also on discussing issues pertaining to the world of authors, publishers etc. as well as promoting their works and causes.
